trading for survival

i would like to suggest all of us here in florida start trading everything we have with everyone else in an attempt to have redundancy out there in case bad stuff goes down this hurricane season. maybe if we're lucky everything will survive or at least there will be a frag out there you can get a frag off of in the event something goes wrong.

agreed... and honestly my tank is really small right now but i plan on having at least a 30 starting in august which will leave plenty of room once i arrange the 4 corals i have now... im down to take small (1 inch-ish) pieces of ANY acro or monti or anything for that matter into my tank so that if anything goes down i will have some growing... i live at a univeristy, that is right down the street from a hospital so we should lose and get power fairly quickly... i think we went 3 days maybe 4 during wilma which is incredibly survivable for corals...

i think we should facilitate massive amounts of frag trading for this purpose. i dont have alot of acros but i have montis and zoos.

what could you offer? im just ensuring the people dont take advantage of this and use this to freeload a bunch of frags.

well by the time i setup my new tank i will have handfuls of xenia, i also might have enough room to frag a few metallic green torch heads... then the standard zoos and mushrooms... like i said im very low stocked because im coming from a 5 gallon tank...
