Transfering RBTA in Ziplock for a couple hours???

I don't have any fish bags but I'm selling a RBTA and need to transfer him (or her).

Could I fill a gallon size ziplock with tank water and put him in it for a 2-3 hours in a small cooler?

I use a 1 gallon bucket and lid I bought from HD in the paint dept....cost a few bucks and I use it for everything I transfer from tank to tank.....very useful for drip acclimation too
