Transitions

Seen their tracks all over. Saw one once while photographing something else and stupid autofocus failed and would lock on the white snoeshoe hare in the snow...ugh. By the time I swithched to manual he was long gone. TOday I finally saw, and captured him on digital film. He is clearly in transition from his white winter coat to his brown summer one. Snowshoe Hare, Alaskan style.

not transitioning anytime soon despite what the rabbit thinks..... Winter is still holding on. Got several inches of snow last night and more is expected. Saw this little lady bedded down on the way into work. Another op to use the new S90 point and shoot.

The weather here is weird... it's been nice, it was even up to 50 degrees one day recently, now we've gotten about 6 inches of snow in some places. We've got about 4 at my house and more to come like IPT said.
