transplanting rics

I have a very small rock that i got 1 yellow & green Florida ricordia on. It has since divided and now i have 6 of em, but they are very crowded and all trying to overlap each other in the fight for light. I have a large, flat rock that i would like to transplant these to, but I don't know how. Can anyone tell me how to do it or a link to a how-to?

Chip the rock to try to get pieces if it along with the ric off. Then just glue it to the rock u want it on.

OR

Cut it off at the foot and either let it sit in sand/rubble till it attaches and then do as u please.

I have also seen people cut off the ric (using a razor & scrapping the rock) and then LOOSELY tie it down with string to a rock, until it attaches and then cut the string off.
Do not try to glue it, no matter what glue you use you stand a 99% chance of probability that it will detach...

I have scraped Rics and shrooms off rock then placed them in a cup of rubble covered by wedding veil held down by a rubber band. they just pick a rock to attach too then you can glue it to where ever you want in the tank.

When i went to frag mine. I noticed my razor when right under them and it was actually very easy to remove them from the rocks they were on without cutting them. Some i cut. Others were pulled off.

Here are two threads about the topic. I have not dared to slice and dice, but I have some candidates in the waiting :D

I wouldn't fear fragging them, they actually do well after you cut them. I fragged a small orange ric into 2 pieces last week and both of them are fully healed. I also fragged a green ric into 4 pieces and 3 of 4 are still in the tank on the sand bed. 1 of them are MIA, but the rest look good. I awaiting for them to attach to LS or rubble.
