Anybody in Desmoines area know where to get food-grade container for my ro/di water, or should i just go to home depot and get one for 28 bucks ?

might want to try sprayer specialty's in Grimes. They have all sorts of different size poly containers.

That's what i want is one of those, a friend just told me there is a car wash that just throws these away (55 gal) , i know they had soap and other chemicals in them do think a guy could clean them with bleach, muratic ,vineger , or something else?

Wayne, Call Mr's Clarks foods and see if they will sell you a barrel.
They may even let you have a couple.
They get cider vinegar and some other food stuff in them.
My brother works there but I don't talk to him often so you might try giving them a call.

I have tried the trash can thing, then I got 2 55 gallon barrels ... they are so much nicer as they are designed to handle that pressure, and a trash can is not ... they start to flex and bow and you will replace them more often than you want to ....

I was lucky to find vinigar barrels, so other than the rinsing and smelling Viniger I wasnt worried about toxins.

Good luck in youre search.

Dave.

If you do decide to go with trash cans, save yourself some time and money and get a Brute trashcan. Ive tried the cheapies and they all split or leak at some point, but the Brute I have had for the last 3 years hasnt had any problems.

I've called a couple places ,no responses, they all act like i'm crazy for wanting them. i think there is a gas station over on the east side that has them for 10.00 bucks each.i'm checking that out saturday.
