Treating fin rot in a reef tank

hi all ,, i was wondering is it possible to treat fin rot "Lymphocystis" in a reef aquarium as it will be nearly impossible to net catch the fish and i dont want to rip the tank apart

Hello,

Fin rot is different then Lymphocystis.

To treat fin rot, a QT is the best choice.

fine rot is bacterial and can be caused by many reasons. poor water quality, stress esc..

To treat since fin rot is more likly a gram negative bacteria you need to use Mayacin 2 as that will treat gram negative bacteria.
