Treatment for fin rot

I would really appreciate any suggestions on treating fin rot on a blue hippo tang. He is currently in my QT and just finished treatment for ich. I'm thinking the ich opened him up to a secondary infection, the fin rot. The water parameters are all right where they need to be. Other than the fin rot he seems in perfect health and spirit. I've read to treat with furan2, maracyn two, or kanaplex. I was hoping someone with experience treating this with any of those meds or others could share their experience and recommendations. I would prefer something that does not kill the bio filter but realizing it's a bacterial infection that may not be an option. I have prime and can do the daily water changes but would prefer something where that is not necessary

I've had good success with kanamycin (Seachem Kanaplex). It will put somewhat of a dent in the biofilter, but will not completely destroy it. You can augment the bacteria with something like Bio-spira if you have concerns.
