What is the recommended treatment for Lymphocystis? I've done limited research on this and it seems like the treatment is to Iso the affected fish and let it take its course!
Is there currently no medication for this? Anyone with experience with this, please chime in?
Let it run it's course is pretty much it. I've never heard of any anti-virals that treated it specifically. Most people recommend keeping water quality very high and stress low... under these circumstances I have had it clear up and vanish over the course of a few months.
Isolation just seems like it would further stress the fish. Correct the conditions that caused it, whether it be a bully tankmate, water quality, food, etc, and it should go away on its own.
My copperband was affected with it when in quarantine. I just kept water quality high and fed him lots of vitamin soaked mysis. Over a year later he is still with me and looking great.
