tridacnid and lawnmower blenny

I have a 6 in. tridacnid clam and a 4 in. lawnmower blenny and it is really wierd whenever i walk in the room the blenny will dart into the clam and the clam will almost completly shut on the blenny and usually the blenny will just "sit" inside the clam, usally the clam doesnt care but is it able to fillter feed if a fish is "sitting" in it.

I've never heard of this before . I'll tag along for this one . I want to have a clam down the road and I have a lawnmower blennie.:beer:

I have a 4" maxima, and a 3" lawnmower bleenie. I have never seen the bleeniy pay any attention the the maxima...the maxima has been in my tank for a bout a week. I will watch them!

Bi-color blennies are notorious clam nippers, but I've only once heard of a lawnmower causing clam problems. So, I guess it's not completely unheard of, but very rare!
