Triggerfish blurry eye (Photos Included)

Hi,

Some of you may have remembered a while back my triggerfish had caught a parasite and had both eyes slightly blurred and tattered fins. I treated this, and it is gone so all is well...till now ><.

Recently my triggerfish has shown it in one eye, however this appears to not be from a parasite. From my research it seems to be eye trauma from perhaps an accident of some sort? I have taken photos this time for visual aid. One is of the good side of my trigger, and the other pic is of the infected side.

Water Parameters are zero everything and no fish are fighting. Anyways my main question was what is this, and how would I go about treating it? Thankz.

In my experience, if its just one eye its likely from trauma. Observe for a day or two and see if it gets better (it usually does). I just went thru this with my female clown, except hers was swollen to about 4 times its size. By three days later it was all clear.

Occasionally when my achilles tang was in QT, if the ammonia level got too high, his eyes would go cloudy. He was like the canary in the coalmine, but if your parameters are fine, then I'm guessing its just a trauma. Usually best to heal on its own.
