Triple Millie dying???

Hello,
About 4 weeks ago, I purchased this triple milli frag. As you can see in the middle, it seems to dying. It's entirely white...in the first week, it was fine. Then on the 2nd week I saw a noticeable spot and each week grows bigger.

My tank has been set up for a while. It is in the top level, with plenty of flow and light. My parameters seems decent (Alk 8.0, Calc, 410, Mag, 1300, 0 Phos, 0 Nitrates). My Mag was low in 1200 last week, but I slowly brought it up.

Tonight, I removed my emerald crab that would pick at the polyps in my pink birdnest. I haven't seen any red bug. I coral dipped before putting in my tank.

The one thing I could think of is maybe the light is too strong? I am currently running one AI SOL for my 40g Hex at 57%.

Any ideas would be most welcome. This is by far my fav. frag. Would be a shame to break it or lose it.

Thanks !

I know it sucks to frag it,but thats what i would do.I would cut it right in 1/2 and go from there. It's better to have 1/2 of a colony that nothing at all,if it keeps going down hill.

One more thing forgot to mention...when I saw it the white spot, I kind of noticed some strands of what almost seemed like white hair coming from the it. Any

I don't mind fraging it, but If I do, whats stopping from picking up where it left off?

Just trying to gauge whether the environment itself is the cause, and not the coral.

Thanks!

looks like your corals are pretty packed together. you should check whether anything is brushing up on that spot. its like if you lean two different sps together, one of them gonna get a bald spot.

Yep, I'd say it is at war with itself break the three peices apart and re glue them seperatly

I usually like to do my research before buying something, but they were having a blow out sale for 30% off to celebrate their 5th anniversary that day.

Impulse buy I guess. LFS said it was specifically because they were in the same family that there wouldn't be a conflicts staying so close to one another.

The majority consensus then is separating it?
Any concerns about the light?
I would imagine if it was the light, wouldn't the highest point be bleaching first?

Thanks again!
