Tropic Eden substrate

I am looking to order the Tropic Eden Reeflakes. It is supposed to be a great substrate and I like the larger grain size since I will have a lot of flow.
Is there a cheaper shipping option? I guess since I am so far, the shipping is equal to the price of the substrate for me.

Unfortunately it is an expensive item to ship because it's so heavy. You will get the best shipping price if you order in 2's. 2 bags of 30lb etc. Because we can ship 2 bags in on box, so that might help.

If you only need 1 bag, then UPS is probably the cheapest, but we can ship USPS Flat Rate box for 12.95.

Yes, we can get 1 bag to fit in those, barely. It wouldn't be insured, but should be pretty safe shiper. We have shipped them to Hawaii pretty often.

You can use this link to add the shipping charge for the USPS box

Then at checkout, just choose Local Pickup. We'll know by the item code you order above you want the USPS flat rate box and change it to USPS for you.
