I always appreciate the input I get here!
After QT, I introduced 4 fish to my 110G last night while the lights were off.
Current inhabitants: clown pair, melenarus wrasse, yellow watchman goby, flame hawkfish.
New inhabitants: McCoskers wrasse, Midas Benny, and 2 sapphire damsels.
I let the lights run as usual today. The McCosker wrasse (tiny) is getting punished by either the hawkfish or melanarus wrasse (both have size). I didn't see it happen but I noticed 1 and then a second fin laceration (chunk). I took the McCosker out and put it back in QT.
Assuming it makes it, is a week or 2 in observation reasonable? Since I don't know who the culprit is, I am thinking of waiting a week, and reintroducing via acclimation box. Then, leaving the lights off for 2 days.
Does that sound reasonable? I didn't find any bonafied compatibility flags with my current stock list.
I was going to wait a couple months and then introduce a yellow wrasse, exquisite (or solarensis), and yellow tang. So the acclimation box will be useful either way.
