Hi guys,
I´ve a serious problem with this algae, Does any body knows hoy can I get rid of it?, some facts:
1.- It doesn´t react to low nutrient maybe because it´s calcareous like halimeda
2.- It started to agressively spread since my system had an unbalance in Ca/Kh ratios, in fact started to grow when my Ca was in 440 ppm and Kh in 5.2 dKh
3.- It looks grows in temperatures higher than 26 Farenheit degrees and loves blue light spectrum
4.-Now my system is balanced Ca 440ppm , Kh 10.2 Dkh, Mg 1420 ppm, since the beginning No3 & Po4 where at the lowest posible 5 ppm and 0.02 ppm respectively, lighting ATI T5 4x54w, Skimmer deltec MCE500 total system volumen +/- 150 gal.
Any comments would be much appreciated....
