Trumpet Coral

Hi. I'm fairly new to keeping LPS and corals in general, and I just bought a single head of trumpet coral for $5 from my LFS. The piece has two branches, one with a head and one with out a head. I was wondering if another head would grow out of this branch, or if it would just stay dead. Also, I've had this coral for about a month and the head hasn't shown much growth. How long should it take to start multiplying. BTW, my tank is a 20H, and my lighting is two t5 bulbs with tek retrofit kit.

No, that branch will stay dead. Mine grow like mad, are you feeding it?

it can take some time before you start seeing actual growth.

Thanks for the info. I've been feeding it with frozen mysis about 2-3 times a week at dusk, so hopefully it will grow.

Have you tried moving it, I have one that wasn't growing, and once he found his happy place after 3 moves he took off like mad.
