Trying to figure out lighting for this new build.

I know I'm going with radions but just don't know what yet. Does anyone run them and have suggestions. I have a 150 DD that's 3x3x27. I'm looking at gen 3 or 4, but what I can't decide is if I should do pro or non pro. I plan to keep fish and mostly lps maybe some spa here and there. Par wise I think I can get away with the non pro.

I have 12 bulbs of t5 and just picked up a couple of radions for supplemental lighting and dead spots.

I'd go with minimum of 3 depending on your rockwork.

I have a 150dd as well as smoothdog.

I have xr 30 G4 pro. From my understanding is non pro 32x32 pro is 36x36 at about 9-10 inches up. Sps dominant would be closer to 12x12. I use the reeflink to control vortechs,vectra, and the light. There isn't to many programs out there for the extra 2 color Channels to be shared if you are into that. I made my own schedule.

Thanks for the input. I've read mixed reviews on the reeflink, some people love it and some say they have issues with it.

I have no apex and I have infinite control of all my devices from the phone. Never once had any trouble with it once I had it on the right wifi signal.

After watching the recent BRS video that included the xr15pro I would consider four of those. With the square layout i would think this could be a workable option and would be far more flexable than two of the larger fixtures and give a greater control over light intensity in various areas.

Personally I would 4 3" footers. Two on each side of the leds.
For better color control and perimeter light will be slightly weak on a deeper cube.
This is not something I would do right away. Once things start moving growth wise and real estate becomes an issue then I would differently look into upgrading.

The app is very glitchy to program (although fun for demos) but the website is pretty great and user-friendly. I have Vortechs on both tanks and a Vectra on the 60 cube all tied into the Ecosmartlive program. I hope you like them!

Great to hear. I picked up reeflink and an mp60 to use too. I'm exited to see how this will work.
