Trying to Identify Strange White Growth

While moving around some rocks and coral, I came across this white branching growth in a low-light area on some of my rock, it seems to be spreading, growing and reaching.

Is it an Algae? Is it a Sponge? Is it a Bacteria? Is it mold?

You guys are super knowledgeable so I am pretty sure you will know what this is, and advise whether I should remove some of it, all of it, or let it grow.

Thanks for any advice!

Not likely to grow that much or threaten other beasties. Most corals have a whole arsenal of chemicals to defend themselves from encroachment by other inverts.

Then again, there are lots of fish that like to eat sponges, so you could feed it to an angel fish if you have one.
