TTM and Formalin

I plan on QT'ing four small fish. 2 yellow tail damsels, a royal gramma, and pajama cardinal. I've never used formalin and would like to know what the best method is on dipping my fish. I have formalin MS and I know the concentration I need to use per gallon. I plan on doing the first dip as soon as I get them, but after that how many more times should I dip them during the TTM process? After losing my last batch of fish in QT to velvet I just don't want to take any chances this time around. So doing this as a prophylactic treatment.

i only dip once on arrival, 50 min while watching. if you add a transfer you can rid your fish of velvet also. days 1,3,5,7,10,13.

Right on. I'm thinking I will add one more tank transfer like you said , plus maybe add one more final Formalin dip right after TTM is done. Since I'm using formalin should I still dose prazi a couple times while they are in observation? Or is it not necessary since I'm using the formalin?

i still use 2 prazi treaments after TTM.

I do a 30-45 minute formalin dip, upon arrival of the fish, then into the 1st tank of TTM. During transfer 2 and 3, I do a round of Prazi-Pro.
