I set up a species tank several months ago for some tube anemones. About a month ago I picked up 2 nems. When I got home, I realized one of the nems had another baby nem sticking out of the side of it's tube. A week later the baby nem split off. Two weeks later I have noticed over the last few days that neither the "parent", nor the "baby" are opening up much during my light cycle. The other nem is opening up all the time, not as much during the light cycle as before. After lights off, these guys look stunning! I found an article on advanced aquarist that said these guys are primarily nocturnal. I had one before, and that was not my experience with that one. I guess my questions are: Is this normal for them? and if so, is there a way to train them to open up during the light cycle?
