Tube anemone.

Can a small tube anemone, 1.5" across, 1.5" tube, be layed on its side in 1.5" substrate or would it be preferable to place it in a cup of deep sand vertically? I've also heard they need moderate flow and others say very low flow is needed? Which is true? Thanks.

Not an expert on the subject but I think you need deeper sand for them. They usually go way down in the sand in the wild....like a foot or more. Some of them are angled under rocks as well but I think they need deeper sand.
