tube anenome question

I have read conflicting advice about tube anemone I have read that they can sting small fish and I have also read that they can't can anyone clarify this for me

They can and will sting, catch and eat anyfish small or slow enough that comes in contact with it.

I don't know where you read that tube anemones can't sting...

If they couldn't sting, they wouldn't be very good at being anemones.
