Tube nems-how much and how often do you guys feed yours?

Just what the title says. Also, I picked up two nems at my LFS, got them acclimated in the tank and realized one of my nems has another nem sharing it's tube. Is that normal? (I feel like I stole from the LFS, three gorgeous tubes for the price of two!)
