Tubeless tube anemone???

Has anyone seen tube anemones sold without the tubes? I have never seen them sold this way, but someone said that they bought them this way from a LFS. Any thoughts??

I have a tube anemone that I have had for almost a year.... I have moved it from tank to tank 3 different times. Each time it loses its tube...
No biggie, everytime it regrew one. I mean the tube is only really a mixture of sand and some type secretion from the tube anemone itself. The tube is not a living part of the tube anemone but more like it's house.
What color did you get? My tube anemone has a green center and orange tantacles.

Hi Mel,
I did not get them. I was concerned since they were all closed up and did not have the tubes. I figured I would go to the LFS and get one with a tube for that price.

I mean if you can get them with the tube, go for that...
The tube is thier house/protection, without it they get stressed out. You don't how long they have been without thier tube hence, how long they have been stressing out.
At home if they lose thier tube it's not biggie...
