tubular steel stand maker?

Anyone local make tubular steel stands? Are they typically more expensive than the bast 2x4 stand?

I recently talked to a guy about one and he quoted me $300 for a 6'x2'x4' (LxWxH). Not sure, but it sounded like a good deal for steel.

Are these guys typically able to powdercoat a steel stand or do you have to take it somewhere else?

Typically, taking the stand to a shop that does a lot powdercoating would be cheaper IMO, or maybe try a DIY truck bed coating from the hardware store, or epoxy coatings...
