Tunze 3152 Osmolator pump issue

Hello,

I have an year old Tunze 3152 Osmolator working fine until yesterday. I had to take all my equipment out for cleaning my sump...once I put everything back...my tunze osmolator doesn't work...it quits after running for 1 or 2 secs. Tried unplugging and plugging the unit back in...same issue. I tried running it outside the water to see if its the issue with float sensor...it runs fine outside...just ran it for few secs...so its not the sensor...I am sure its the pump...it makes the click sound in the controller box when float switch is activated...but doesn't seem to pump though. What could be the issue...is there a customer service or support number for Tunze USA? I saw someone on the forum helping people out...sent him a msg too.

Any suggestions?

Good news. Replacement pumps are like $29.00. Better news, it may just need a vinegar bath.

I used to run kalk out of a 5g bucket and became convinced that I had a bad pump, replaced it only to realize the tubing itself was clogged.

Now I have an extra pump in the drawer, which is never a bad thing to have on hand either.
