Tunze 6201 & 6105 in 120 SPS Tank?

Hi, I have a Tunze 6201 with the 7095 controller in a 120 tank 4x2x2 and it is all SPS, I have it on Pulse mode, and have a chance to get up to three 6105's but only need one. Would this work good and what settings do you think I should start with. Both pumps will be on right and left wall and pointing directly at each other.

Next, is my 6201 overkill and should I replace it and get two of the 6105's, my tank is handling the flow very well with no sand being blown around. Or go the opposite way as I like flow and get a Y cable and have two 6105's on one end and the 6201 on other. Many Thanks, for help.

Hi Dan, at first glance it seems like it could be overkill in a 120. But on the other hand SPS tanks can handle, and thrive with, immense amounts of flow. (And large SPS colonies do always IMHO look nicer, more natural when grown in very high flow.) So if they're already adapted to the 6201's flow, I'd be reluctant to remove it. I'd personally consider adding one or two 6105s on the opposite side and playing around with those. I think you could get some pretty amazing flow patterns that way.

Hope that helps! Feel free to post back or post a picture and I'll try to come up with some other ideas.
