Tunze Calcium Reactor Osmolator

Anyone using one of these? Whats your thought on it?

It would work well on a tank your size. I used one on my 37g but have since discontinued using kalkwasser. It worked well and was easy to maintain.

I used one on my 65g for about a year. The biggest plus to it is its simplicity, but it is hard to tell if you are getting a fully saturated kalk solution, since there isn't a lot of mixing.

I finally broke down and bought a kalk reactor. So now I know I am getting a lot more mixing. I was hoping to be able to decrease the amount of 2 part that I'm dosing by getting a fully saturated kalk solution. Interestingly enough, I am still dosing the same amount of Ca/Alk supplements, which leads me to believe the Tunze version must have been doing pretty good.

Thanks. I been dosing B-Ionic since day one. Tried using a calcium reactor for about 4 months and decided to take it off line a few years back. Sounds like the Osmo Reactor is a great product. Going to be placing an order this week. Thanks again.

the osmolator is awesome but the kalk mixer add on seems like a rip off to me. a hundred bucks for a plastic water bottle is a little insane.
