i just preordered two of them from aquariums specialty. not a bad price considering it only uses 8 watts and pushes 1200gph. check it out.

its like 60 bucks for the smallest one, 96 for the 6045, and 203 i believe for the 6055 which is controllable.

which one did you order? i called tunze and they said the expected release is last week of September or first week of October, which means first week of October basically.

I pre-ordered two of the 6045. Was gonna get the controllable, but its 100 more each. I figured i was just going to use these in the back of my tank to push water to the front. Roger, in the tunze forum said there's a delay on them. There will be a shipment for late sept and the second batch at the beginning of oct.

They said the 6055 can be controllable like any other stream, but with the 6045 or 6025, you can put it on intervals of 15 min. Anything less will shorten the life of the motor.

What you saw at RAP was the Vortech, not the NanoStream.

I'll wait till it come out and you know i will get hook up somewhere down the line . I will get it before new year. so it will be my birthday and new year present.
