Tunze Osmolator Sensor Wires

Attempting to make an equipment closet but the supplied wires for the optical eye and backup float are too short. Any suggestions or is it possible to lengthen the wires???

More seriously, cut and splice in a extension if you must, neither sensor should be sensitive to that sort of thing.

Maybe message Tunze on here and get their advise? Sometimes the extension can result is other issues as the longer the wire the more signal loss you get. It may result in unreliable operation on the sensors.

Ok, I'm fearful as I've been told there are 4 small wires in there. Not sure what type of wire to use.

Grab an old telephone cord - it has 4 small wires.
