Tunze Stream placement and setting

Hi all. I have a new 180 with 2 Tunze Stream 6100s with a 7095 controller. I just placed them in the tank tonight on the pulse setting. I am not exactly sure where I should place them, right now I have them on either end of the tank facing the center. I am also not sure what the best program to use would be. The tank will be an sps tank and will have a deep sand bed. Thanks for your help.

I have mine one each on the corner overflows angled towards the front center. I have the controller pulse between 30 and 85 percent alternating (one high one low).

Ive got both of my 6100 on the same end of a 180, but it is a pennisula tank, only one side against a wall. one is on the overflow and one is in a deco rock. This works pretty well, i get lots of flow over most of the tank. I am really considering a wavebox, i think it might complete my flow. as to settings, both on 50-100 alternating pulse.

I had mine on the back corners facing the opposite side. How ever once I put in live rock and tonga branch in the tank that no longer worked. I then put them on the center of each side of the side glass of the tank, one angled to the front and one angled to the back. However this did not work out so I bought another one. I now have two on one side and one on the other side. This seems to be working so far.

I thought about selling my 6200s and getting two 6100s for the ends and two 6000s for the middle portion

Hey guys, but if you place the streams on the sides facing to the front center part of the tank, wonÃ"šÃ‚´t the sandbed will blow?
Because IÃ"šÃ‚´m yet to find the best positioning for my 2 6200Ã"šÃ‚´s they are on the sides of the tank facing to the other side and the sand will blow on the center of the tank, so I suppose this problem would agravate it.
Thanks
Mark

I have florida crushed coral 2.00mm-4.00mm which is larger than most. The coral still moves, but just a little. I could not imagine having finer gravel/sand with the flow created by these 3 pumps. I can also only place my clams on the bottom of the tank where flow is not so great. Hopefully fish will be ok in there.

I have one of mine on the left back corner of the tank, facing in such an angle so that it blows almost diagonally across the tank towards the right front corner of the tank.

The other one is mounted on the right wall of the tank and blows straight across the tank towards the left wall of the tank.

I did this setup cuz most of my SPS corals are arranged on this path and also this minimized sand blowing all over the tank.

I am running mine on interval 2 mode (30% to 100% powers) and once in a while I play w/ the settings just to get some variety of flow in there.

I have 2 6100 and was playing around with the placement as well, I have mine at both ends and facing to the front center, I was consider to make it face each other but would the flow being too much? if you guys are putting it on each side and facing each other what mode and % are you setting at?
