Tunze Turbelle NanoStreams

Hi,
I'm looking to purchase (4) of the 6025 model. I'd like to use a Red Sea Wave Maker to control these powerheads. Is this possible? Will the NanoStreams works with the Red Sea Wavemaker?

Thanks

Bad idea. They will rattle on constant start-up. In addition, Tunze states that they can be run on and off but must be off for a specified time which is somehwere in the 30 minute or 1 hour range. Maybe it is less but it makes it a moot issue to cycle them.

Only solution now is the Seio controller. It rails them down to 50% and then up to 100% on a user controllable cycle. Its still a use at your own risk thing but I ahve been doing it with the nanos and the Koralias and works.

all propellor power heads have to have a stop mechanism on them if they start spinning the wrong way, in an impellor pump, it doesnt matter, propeller it does.

so when they start, as darg said, they rattle, they are banging the prop against the stopper till they randomly spin the right way. long term, you'll destroy it.

6055 can use their controller.

makes you feel any better, you wont likely get any tunze powerhead for atleast 1-2 months.

You can only cycle the 6025 and 6045 on and off every 15 minutes minimum. The 6055 can be run on Tunzes controller which can run the pump from 30% to 100% power at timed intervals. They are quality products all the way around in my experience.
