But for $600?? Surely you can do better. AquaC, Euroreef, ASM, Deltec. If your going to spend $600, don't get a toy.

MCary, have you ever used any of the bigger aquamedic skimmers?
I've never seen anyone who's used one give a negative responce. They seem to be really nice, underrated skimmers.
If you're gonna spend $600, dont waste it on a toy like a 5" skimmer.

Guys the Turboflotor Multi SL that I currently have prodices alot of junk waste in the collection cup and I am very satisfied but it is rated for aquariums up to 150g so for my 180g is a bit small I guess.
Now I am thinking to buy the Aqua medic Turboflotor 5000 Shorty because it is rated for aquariums up to 400g and it is small and ideal to make under the tank in the cabinet.
What do you think?
