I have a 46 bow and need a fish to eat the turf. i already have a lawnmower and he won't touch it. Any suggestions? Tank is sps with a few lps.

Sure - I've had good luck with a pair of lettuce nudis. I got them from piece-of-the-reef on eBay, but I know Live Aquaria has them too. Maybe whatever shop is near to you can get them in as well. They started slowly, but in less than two weeks, have almost no hair or turf algae at all. I didn't have a tankful by any means, but they are knocking it out in short order.

lettuce nudis + lots of flow = death.

I had a few for a little while until my Tunze found it or should I say he found the Tunze.

:)

Sorry for the double post, but try a sea urchin. (Pencil Urchin to be exact). They are a little bit of a bull dozer but try to move him onto that rock every time he goes somewhere else.

just a thought.

I had one stuck to the outside of a Koralia 4 last night. I don't know how long he was stuck, but he's none the worse for wear today. Korallias definitely aren't as strong as Tunzes, though. :eek1:

As soon as they finish their job, they will have new homes. I didn't intend for them to be long-term residents.
