Turning frags into a zoa garden

OK, I realize this is a true newbie question, but I'm just starting to collect zoas. I have a bunch of frags mounted to little square pieces of ceramic. Right now they're just all sitting on the sandbed of my 12 gal Aquapod. When I try to sit them up higher on some rock, a snail always seems to knock them over (not to mention that it looks kind of cheesy!). So, how do I get these frags to spread over the large rocks in the tank? Actually, any suggestions for turning a bunch of mounted frags into an eventual zoa garden would be really helpful.

i use a pair of curved scissors to lever/cut the frags off the mounting plug/ceramic.

then i get a piece of rubble large enough it won't move around, superglue (gel) the frag to the rubble, then place the rubble where i want it.

in smaller tanks, you can take the actual LR out and superglue directly to that...

or, you can use an epoxy putty (aquastick), place some putty on the frag, and then push it onto the rock underwater where you want it. i don't like this last method as much b/c it tends to leave a film of chemicals at the surface. superglue can do that to, which is way i use a seperate container to rinse the frags before placing them in the display.

You can get the epoxy stuff at Home Depot for like 3 bux. Its called "Aqua Mend" Works pretty decent. Just have to make sure it doesnt move within the first hour so. Once it sets, you are "stuck!"
