Hey guys i have total 5 frags of gsp, and 2 of them are not opening since 3 days, dono why.. i have 2 clowns, 5 peleamon shrimps and 6 tiger turbo snails.
I bought a frag of GSP two weeks ago and it seemed happy. Then for no apparent reason it closed up for 3 1/2 days. Water was good and the other corals were happy. I thought for sure it was lost, but after reading some posts on the various forums this seems to be normal for them. The only thing I can think is a crab walked on it or a fish brushed up against it causing it to close.
It finally opened up and is back to its normal self.

Don't worry about this coral, you can't kill it by normal means. Also, keep it on its own rock and away from other rocks where it can spread, unless your goal is to have a full tank of nothing but this in a few months. Think of GSP as weed grass.

Yep. They always come back. Don't get me wrong, I have this Coral too and the wife likes the color and movement, but I have to keep it away from everything, just like Xenia's.
