Two part dosing vs SPS

I am setting up 45G cube with LPS (Acans, open brain, Scolymia, Frogspawn) and some small SPS frags such as birdnest. Wondering if I still need to perform two part dosing?

SPS consumes more calcium and Alk than LPS? Even though the the LPS is larger in size?

Correct. The branching growth in the smaller polyp stony coral is happening at a much higher rate by far than the larger polyp stony corals. Your needs depend on how many corals, WC regiment, water volume, etc.

Continue to dose your current amounts of 2 part. Add more frags and then when your big3 parameters start dropping increase your dosing. Big 3= alk, cal, mg
