Two Shrimp Dead in a Week

A week ago today I transferred the contents of my 40 breeder to a new 93 cube. I started the cube with new Marco rock and let the tank completely cycle before I made the transfer. Within 24 hours of the transfer I had a new skunk cleaner shrimp die. He was still very small, maybe ¾". I found him on his back out in the open on the sand bed. At first I thought that I had maybe injured him somehow during the transfer, but last night I noticed my Randal's pistol shrimp dead pretty much in the same location.

I find it odd that both my shrimp died within a week of each other. All my fish, coral, and CUC seem fine. Because the tank was newly cycled I have been watching ammonia and nitrite. Both are at zero and have been all week. The tank was started with dead rock that had been through an acid bath so I know it's not a hitchhiker killing them.

Any thoughts on what it might be? I guess it could be just a coincidence, but I find that hard to believe. I've had the pistol shrimp for at least 2.5 years; I don't remember exactly when I got him. The cleaner shrimp had been in my tank about a month and had replaced a cleaner shrimp I had lost a few weeks prior to getting the new one. The original skunk cleaner had been with me over 3 years.
