Two XR15's over a 65 gallon

I have a 65 gallon standard 36"x18" tank and am considering two XR15's. I would do one XR30 but don't think I would get the coverage for the full 3 feet and am worried about shadowing because of the support brace.

Would I be able to keep SPS as low as midway down the tank with the 2 XR15's?

I run one xr30 with wide angle lenses over a 65. The light pucks sit on each side of the brace and I haven't noticed any shadowing. I'm the process of trying to get my light higher though. My canopy isn't tall enough for me to get 8 inches above the water as recommended. I may get a taller canopy or take the lid off the canopy and mount the light above it.

Kevin,

Both options would work great, and allow you to grow SPS at any depth.
