I bought the unit off another reef member and never got the chance to set these up.

I really wish I could keep them, but I need the money for USF tuition next semester.

I'm looking to upgrade my 150w HQI's.
But I see they are 230v - how did you get them to work with 120v?
Step up transformer? Or did you run a 220v circuit?

That is up to you...you can do it either way

if you want to stay 120v then you will need a Step- Up Converter
