Ugly duckling syndrome.

i got these from a friend when i first started collecting zoas like a month ago. They were my least favortie. I just moved this from high to low and snapped this picture after a day of moving them. Their so much better looking then when i first got them.

Yes lighting can make a big difference on what zoa's look like. Some like more and some like less.

I wouldn't call them ugly. I had them years ago and under the proper spectrum, the eye is a peircing yellow/orange. A word of caution, moving zoas around will cause a delay in growth.

I may just have nudis on the brain, but look at the base of the upper left most stalk.
Purple would be a color I have not seen yet.

Hey there, I moved em so they wouldent grow i dont want these ones taking over. I have a bunch of colored frags that i want to grow out.

Lol there not ugly, just my least favorite. But now since I moved them they colored up a lot. Ugly duck syndrome is going from something alright to something special but I will let you know when it comes fragging time.
