Uh oh.. Cloudy clown eye

reelin and dealin
One of the eye on my little clown is getting cloudy.. He swims against the glass on the side that has the cloudy eyes..

My params are in check. Just did a 20% water change. Any idea if this is a disease? If so, How should I treat it?

Try dosing a little epsom salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gallons). If it's an eye injury that will help with the swelling.

Thanks.. The closer I look at it, it does look like an injury more than a disease. More of a scratched look than a cloudy eye.

I think we are confusing cloudy eye with pop eye. Cloudy eye is generally a result of stress (from poor water parameters, disease, harassment, etc.), while popeye (when in one eye) is usually a result of injury, or (when in both eyes) a result of bacterial or parasitic infections.

I suggest that you look into the cause of the cloudy eye. check water parameters, potential disease, or possible harassments.

I agree. How long has the OP had this fish?
