uh oh .. skimmer will be to small

I was told (by a friend who gave it to me) that my tank was no bigger than 25 gallons.. but probably around 20-23.
I bought a skimmer for it. The aqua C nano skimmer. Well I just measured my tank.. it's 30 gallons! Now my skimmer will be to small.

I should have measured it first..

Should I return it and get a different skimmer ? I plan on adding some fish, invertabrates, and corals. Right now there is only 1 clownfish in it..

You should be fine with that skimmer.

As long as you don't over stock the tank you'll be fine.

If you're going to have a skimmer it may as well be rated for the size of the tank you have. As it is they're typically over rated for tank size anyway.

It's a waste of money and electricity to use a skimmer that won't do the job. Get a more appropriate skimmer imo.
