so has anyone been to UA lately? cant remember the last time i was there, all i remember was it wasnt worth the drive. but i think it's under new management. i'll prolly head up sometime soon if anyone wants to tag along.

I live down the street from there was there last Friday, his fish are very healthy and when u factor online shipping prices of fish his prices are not bad..

And u get to see what your buying and there healthy.

His live rock prices Re steep and coral... He only had like 2 pieces of live rock when i was there last.

It is good to support our only real LFS when ever we can cause its all we have.

high store prices don't bother me too much. it costs plenty to keep the doors open and his family fed. and we all know how much the electricity costs to run a tank, let alone a whole shop full. if you can get a few people together to split a colony, it doesn't really matter how much it costs....

He works with you tho helps u get started.

If u buy alot discounts stuff..

And always willing to help.

Think he's gettting in more live rock soon.

I havent been there in about a month but every time I go I walk out with a bag or cooler full of healthy live stock. Worth the drive if you go on a Thursday when he gets his shipment

Yeah I think we have area 51 coming and larry from reef frenzy. And possibly a raffle fish from aqua scapes in Charlottesville.

Justin might be getting in a Bunch of Deco Live Rock with tons of life on it..

Be so cool being able to see this stuff before you buy it.

well, i made it up there this weekend and it was well worth the trip. i'm very very pleased with the transformation from what it was the last time i had been there. lots of great corals and fish.

sorry Will, it was a spur of the moment thing. you pick a date and i will be there :).

he had a small orange fungia for sale. anyone want to go in on it and frag it up? i've split them before into pie slices, they grow back just fine. i think 4 pieces would be about 20 bucks each.

Thanks for coming up Matt! I'm so glad you like the changes I've made to the shop since I took over. I have a lot more things I want to do to make things even better. My next project is to set up two four foot long frag/coral tanks in the front of the store. I have to first sell the 180 because that's where I want to put the new tanks.

Justin is getting in 250 lbs of prem Fuji rock this week and hopefully the rock thats full of all kinds of life next week.
