unIDed tort??

any idea what this is? got is as an maricultured colony from bali from an LFS. pic is a bit overexposed, so the colors are a little deeper than you see. It is maroon at the base and has purple tips. It is smooth skinned which is why I think it might be a tort. Thoughts?

I don't think it is A. tortuosa, as this has radials of various sizes giving it a rough appearance. Yours may be A. carduus, a member of the echinata group, which can look very similar until developed. What ever it is, it is a beauty! Good work!.
 
Thanks! I've never seen another acro that has this distinct of a maroon color. would love to know if others have this piece or if its up to me to propogate it :) it grows reasonably fast, so it should be ready for fraggin soon...
 
The other cool thing about it is its polyps...they have an outer ring which is maroon, with longer white central polyps that have a slight blue fourescence.
