unique color for a. echinata?

I got this guy about 6 weeks ago. When I bougt it it was kinda grey-blue with brick red..... I put it about 6" from the top of the water under a 150w HQI 20k and it has slowly changed it color to look like this over the last month I'd say.....

most echinata ive seen look like that, usually people look for the full orange (OC) or the mix of orange and green (rainbow Acan)
 
Most will change color like that under new lighting. I've found with my echinata's that the colors really come around the higher I get them in the tank.

Like getting a sun tan. :D

I've had echinata that stays the same color for as long as I've had it. Haven't had much luck with them changing color.

this is true... i have a couple that have exploded with color under MH.
