uniseal ques

hello all,

i have a ques about uniseals. i m making a kalk reactor and i was wondering if anyone has had any experience using 1/2 uniseals for the pumbling that drives the mixing process. would these uniseals hold up on constant pressure on the reactor and also the limewater that it is going to be exposed to?

I have used uniseals in a skimmer re-circ mod.

They will hold up to the pressure for sure.

I am not sure on the life expectancy/compatablity with limewater.

My guess would be that they will hold up for a good long while.

You might do a google seach on uniseal / properties.

They hold up well to chemicals. Use the correct size hole saw when drilling and you will be fine for pressure. You might need to lube up the pipe a bit to get it to go through the uniseal without cracking the body of the kalk reactor.
