Unknown creature: Worms?

It looks some kind of colony, they have flat fan shaped hair structures coming out of each one.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but at first glance to me something that is pink and in that basic shape would probably be come kind of sponge.
A clear picture would be more helpful to ID
