i bought a leather coral a few weeks ago.i noticed something that looked like some sort of stony coral body on the side near the base of the leather.i just figured it was dead, but now i see polyp extension from this coral.i have looked around the net trying to find out what it is but have had no luck.the polyps are very small and light brownish and they only extend out about a few millimeters from the skeleton.can anyone tell me what this is and what i need to do for care?i keep my tank parameters good(as of this morning)Ca=425ppm,Alk=3.7meq/L,and Ph=8.2.i also feed with DTs once a day(only 4ml into a 38 gallon tank).also i am running halide/pc lighing and have a fair amount of flow. here is the best pic i could find. i cant get a better one now cause my brother has my camera in A.C.
