Well here is a pic of 150 gal display tank. Right now my salinity is out of the roof. I have some ro/di water thanks to magrath. I have a unit but the hook up i got doesn't work. I had to reorder another one from a different company. Other than that All of my parameters besides the sg really high, p04 just a little high, my silicate also is a little up........well is slowly coming down now. My nitrates has been always undetectable unless I just feed and it only goes to 5ppm for an hour or two. well here is a pic of the display under the phoenix 14k de halides with pc flourescent blue and actnic.

I just got my RO/DI from bulkreefsupply.com, it came with a few different hookup options, I am only using the normal garden hose adapter, if you want I'll give you whichever hookup you need. I have a saddle valve, as well as a sink adapter that will still allow you to use the sink, it's got a bypass for the RO unit. Just let me know and you can stop by and pick it up.

I like the way those phoenix bulbs look! Kinda makes me glad I ordered them now.. Do you have any pics without the flourescents running? I didnt think that the 14K's would be that blue by themselves.

have you checked to see if the connector connects to the sink yet. I tried for a while last night with the one that filterdirect sold and I thought I got it but as soon as the first container filled it blew right off! I was so ****ed! the phoenix's due burn purple but with the real blue is just the florescents the ultra blue and actnics. I am about to switch out the phoenix's with the 12k reeflux bulbs. I like the phoenix's but i am looking to find that right color. I think I might have to get rid of the flourscents and go to t-5's. I won't do that til I get my dream tank or when i get back to the states.

It wont connect to my sink because the connector has female threads, and so does the sink. I suppose I could get an adapter, but I'm Lazy :D

If you want it, it's yours.

yea i will stop by this weekend. Also do you have you ro/di up and running yet? If possible do you have something you could store some water for me. I need more pretty quick. In total I need 20 gal. Let me know.

I've got a whole batch made up, about 30-40 gallons. It's a 75GPD unit so it dosent take long to make up some water.

Gonna be pretty busy at some times this weekend so just give me a call to make sure I am home

Jeremy,
Tank looks great! It is making me rethink my BB and put a sandbed in. Make sure to bring the salinity down slowly. I can make some more water and set it by the door for you to pick up at your convenience, just let me know if you want me to.

I will post new pics of my tank with the reeflux 12k 250DE coralvues. My tanks salinity finally reached 1.025! I am getting alot more PE, even the new bulbs help! I can see a purple acro's orange tips now! Hopefully I will be able to get some zeovit products here in the next 6 months to help with the tank. Since I have been running a lower nutrient tank. I took my 2x's a week vodka doses in my denitrator to everyday, and boy do i have less to clean now on the glass! lol. I can sit back for a minute and enjoy! I hope to get out this weekend to get more coral and also more snails. My few hermits killed nearly 60 snails in the last month! Oh well they are free! Magrath are you going diving again this weekend? Well if you can could you get me more of the deep water coral? The blue and yellow one are doing awesome! Hopefully I will get some of that zeovit program to lower the amount of zooanthallae to bring the color to the surface!

hey Jeremy,

Tomorrow at about 1330 the tide is going to be at its lowest point in a long time, and isnt going to be this low again untill next year, if the tide tables at weather.kadenaservices.com are correct.

I plan on heading out to the seawall about 1300, so i can make my way out while the tide is still heading out. Gimme a call if you want to meet up somewhere.
