this is a poor picture but an FTS. 100lbs of rock i thought would be enough but it still looks empty. should i add more rock or wait until coral fill it up a bit?

ahhh! i'm not crazy about it yet, but i think when it grows bigger it will be nice. not much to look at just yet?

I would not add more rock but break up what you have into 2 unevenly-sized islands with different heights, keeping them off-center too. What you have should be more than enough if you 'scape it differently. Good luck.

i agree that would look nice. utilize the rock i have better. i started moving things around a little bit this morning. starting to look good.

Just a word of advice on the yellow polyps, they grow and spread very quickly and they actually will sting nearby corals. I had some in my old 150 and they grew like crazy. I ended up putting them off to the side of the rock stack cause I didn't want them taking over my tank. JME

I would stack what you have into piles/formations, leaving some empty space in between. That will give you more vertical height in the stack, and open up some "floor space" for things like clams and low light corals.

IMO, you have plenty of rock there.
